Busy Phillips, 47, reveals brain tumour diagnosis and surgery

Busy Phillips, best known for her roles in Dawson's Creek and Freaks and Geeks, has revealed that she was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year and underwent surgery in March.

Diagnosis and Surgery

The 47-year-old actress received the news in February but has only now spoken about it publicly. She was diagnosed with grade 2 oligodendroglioma, a rare form of brain tumour, and underwent surgery in early March, just weeks before she began filming her new CBS series Cupertino.

Recovery and Gratitude

Phillips asked her neurosurgeon how long her recovery would take and whether he could give her a brow lift at the same time. She said he laughed and told her no, to which she replied: "You should start to think about offering that."
