Brooklyn Beckham has marked his seventh anniversary with wife Nicola Peltz by declaring he is 'obsessed' with her, dismissing any critics in a fiery social media post. The 27-year-old chef shared a romantic mirror selfie with Peltz on Instagram on Thursday, along with a picture of two bouquets of roses, captioning the post with a heartfelt message that made his priorities clear amid his ongoing estrangement from his famous family.
'My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me,' he wrote. 'You're my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life.' He continued: 'I'm so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words could ever explain.'
Defiant response to critics
Brooklyn later returned to Instagram Stories with a less sentimental message aimed at anyone inclined to criticise his devotion. Sharing a glamorous picture of his wife, the eldest Beckham son wrote: 'Yea I am obsessed with my wife bring on the comments I don't care she's perfect xx,' adding a middle-finger emoji and a red heart.
The post did not name anyone specifically, but it comes amid months of headlines about his increasingly bitter family feud and his apparent determination to put Nicola first.
Nicola's own tribute
Nicola, 31, returned the anniversary affection with a similarly enthusiastic tribute of her own. The actress celebrated seven years with her husband, expressing appreciation for the little things in their relationship, including his love letters and the morning coffees they share with their dogs. She assured Brooklyn she falls harder for him every day, commenting on his post: 'I more than love you!! My forever and ever!!'
The couple began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement the following year, eventually marrying in a lavish Florida ceremony in April 2022. What should have been a picture-perfect celebrity wedding has since become the subject of a family dispute.
Family feud continues
Earlier this year, Brooklyn launched a scathing public attack on his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, accusing them of attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and controlling his life for years. He declared he had no intention of reconciling with them, insisting he had finally found peace after distancing himself from the family. 'My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation,' he wrote at the time. 'All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.'
Since then, Brooklyn has continued to demonstrate his devotion to Nicola through increasingly romantic social media tributes and permanent changes. The hot sauce entrepreneur, who is famously covered in tattoos, has removed or covered several inkings dedicated to his family amid the fallout. In August, the couple celebrated the first anniversary of renewing their wedding vows, a ceremony his parents and siblings were notably absent from. Marking that occasion, Brooklyn promised to 'always protect' Nicola, calling her his 'absolute princess' and declaring he loved her 'more than life itself'.
His latest declaration comes just weeks after Nicola offered her own public show of appreciation for her husband at the Venice Film Festival. Accepting a rising star award at the Kinéo Awards in September, the actress thanked Brooklyn alongside her parents and brothers for their unwavering support. 'My family are my everything,' she told the audience, crediting their belief in her for helping her pursue her Hollywood ambitions. Brooklyn was by her side throughout the celebrations.
Seven years on, Brooklyn shows no sign of toning down his public declarations of love, and no interest in hearing anyone else's opinion on the matter.
