Brooklyn Beckham, the estranged eldest son of Sir David and Victoria Beckham, has seemingly covered up tattoos dedicated to his siblings, just days after it was revealed he removed a tribute inking to his father. This move comes amid a long-running feud with his family and his billionaire heiress wife, Nicola Peltz.
Family Tattoos Removed
Last month, the 26-year-old released a scathing six-page statement publicly outlining his grievances with his family and declaring he did not wish to reconcile with them. Earlier this week, pictures emerged showing Brooklyn had covered up his anchor tattoo once dedicated to his father, David Beckham.
Now, the hot sauce owner also appears to have removed tattoos honouring his siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, from his body. Just one week ago, these tattoos, inked on his arm's fingers, were visible in a cooking video, but they have since been inked over.
Father's Tattoo Covered Up
Brooklyn previously had a large anchor tattoo on his upper right arm that once carried the word 'dad' through it. Directly underneath was the message 'Love you Bust' – David's endearing nickname for his firstborn. However, new pictures show Brooklyn has covered it up with nondescript shapes and a star, with his dad's nickname text faded and less prominent.
In contrast, Brooklyn's numerous tattoos in honour of his wife Nicola, 31, remain prominently displayed on his body, highlighting the ongoing tensions within the Beckham family.
Plans for Adoption
Meanwhile, on Friday, it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola are planning to adopt their first child. A source close to the couple, who married in 2022, said they want a 'brood' of children – and at least one to not be biologically theirs.
The source explained: 'This is a subject Nicola and Brooklyn firmly align on: they both want a brood of children, and for at least one to be adopted. They both know they come from a place of unimagined privilege and therefore strongly want to give back; offer a disadvantaged baby or child the best possible life. They have talked extensively about it.'
Impact on the Beckhams
This development could be a devastating blow to David and Victoria Beckham, who have always adored the idea of becoming grandparents, as they might not have contact with a future grandchild. In his statement last month, Brooklyn strongly hinted at starting a family with Nicola, concluding: 'My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.'
In a 2022 interview with The Times, Nicola revealed that Brooklyn was eager to have children earlier in life than her, but they both wanted a large family. She said: 'He wants kids yesterday,' adding that she wanted to wait 'a couple of years'. She continued: 'We definitely want a big family. He has three siblings, and I have seven.'
