Brooke Vincent has sparked a huge response online after sharing a candid parenting video in which she joked she was ready for schools to reopen following the summer holidays. The former Coronation Street star, 34, from Audenshaw, Tameside, took to Instagram to show the reality of mum life as she spent her Sunday trying to unblock her toilet.
Unblocking the toilet and a golf distraction
In the video, Brooke is seen speaking to the camera from her bathroom while wearing blue latex gloves. She explained she was trying to unblock her toilet because "one of my children doesn't want to tell me what they've put down the drain", adding: "It is vile. Absolutely ridiculous!"
Her eldest son, Mexx, six, then joins her and she tries to get him to reveal what could be causing the blockage, before he attempts to fix it himself. Soon, Brooke is distracted again when Mexx wants to show her his golf swing.
'Take the shot!'
As he considers taking the shot in the garden, Brooke is heard demanding from behind the camera: "Take the shot!" The moment amused those watching, with many taking to the comments section of her post, which she captioned: "It's giving open up the schools #reels #comedy."
Her Hollyoaks co-star Steph Waring commented: "I'm sorry but I'm pmsl," while Jessica Fox noted: "Your hair being down is sending me over the edge…" Former Corrie and Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis said: "'Take the shot' I'm crying." JLS singer Aston Merrygold also posted: "'Take the shot' [skull and crying laughing emojis]."
