Britney Spears has prompted concern among fans after an ambulance was called to a Los Angeles hotel early Thursday morning following reports of an injury. The singer, 42, was reportedly involved in a heated argument with her ex-boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz at the Chateau Marmont, leading to a disturbance that alarmed hotel guests and staff.
According to eyewitnesses, Spears was seen barefoot and dishevelled, wearing minimal clothing and covering herself with a blanket and pillow. The altercation allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Spears may have hurt her leg. Guests reportedly called paramedics after hearing screaming from her suite.
A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that emergency services responded to the hotel at 12:42 a.m. for a report of an injured woman. However, no one was transported to hospital, and the ambulance left the scene at 1:17 a.m. Spears was seen leaving the hotel without her ex-boyfriend.
The incident comes days after Spears posted a bizarre Instagram message claiming that recent photos of her are 'fake news' and feature a 'body double'. She wrote: 'Most of the pics are body doubles and I think most know that!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!!'
Fans have drawn comparisons to Spears's public breakdown in 2007, when she shaved her head and attacked a photographer's car with an umbrella. In her memoir, she attributed that episode to postnatal depression, grief, and a custody battle. The latest events have reignited concerns about her mental health.
