Adult star Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has announced the birth of her first child in a social media video filmed from a private hospital in London. The 27-year-old, who previously made headlines for sleeping with 1,057 men in 12 hours, said the baby is "super healthy".
Unusual birth announcement
In the video, Bonnie admitted she was sitting on the toilet waiting for a laxative to take effect while eating toast. She said: "I've had a baby. I'm fine. I had a C-section and the baby's super, super healthy."
She added: "I'm going home later. It was painful but not as bad as I thought. However, when I was sick this morning, it genuinely felt like I had my stitches ripped open."
Bonnie's pregnancy was first confirmed exclusively in an interview in May, after many suspected it was a publicity stunt.
Advice and healthcare comments
Speaking alongside her "birthing partner", who did not appear on camera, Bonnie shared advice for new parents: "Best advice so far: s***loads of babygrows. You need a lot more than what you think. And don't overthink it. The baby is fine. Honestly, as long as they're fed, clean and burped, they're just sleeping and it's amazing and they're adorable."
She added: "If I can do it, anyone can do it."
Bonnie also encouraged followers to consider private healthcare, describing the hospital as "like a hotel". She said: "If you can afford to be remortgaging your house to have a fancier holiday or get that fancier car, genuinely go private because it's not as expensive as you think."
She added: "I'll go into the whole cost at a later date but I'm not in a rush to get out of hospital; it's genuinely like a hotel. Don't think you can't afford it. Look into it, ask first."
She also criticised celebrities who use the NHS and then complain: "It actually kind of p****s me off when I see certain celebrities do it through the NHS, then complain about certain things but will happily fly first class or get private jets."
Previous comments on motherhood
Bonnie previously admitted that her child's life "will be difficult" due to her notoriety, but said she could provide for them better than most. She said: "It definitely will be difficult, but I think nowadays everyone gets picked on. Everyone has a difficult journey for one reason or another. I can provide them with the best healthcare, a life where they don't have to work, they can travel the world and make memories."
She added: "That is much better even if they take a bit of judgement as opposed to living this s*** UK life."
