Coronation Street star Ben Price had an uncontrollable reaction to co-star Jack P Shepherd's new look during a recent episode of their podcast, On The Sofa. Ben, who plays Nick Tilsley, and Jack, who portrays David Platt, host the show alongside Colson Smith, formerly known as Craig Tinker on the ITV soap.
Jack's Hair Transplant Journey
Jack, 38, revealed he had undergone another hair transplant, his third after previous procedures in 2018 and 2019. He previously admitted that his receding hairline had shattered his confidence, with social media comments influencing his decision to seek treatment. In the podcast clip, posted to the On The Sofa Instagram, Jack explains he is on Day One post-transplant.
Ben's Uncontrollable Laughter
Ben encouraged Jack to remove his cap and unveil his new look. When Jack obliged, Ben burst into uncontrollable laughter, unable to form a sentence. Colson told Jack he 'quite likes it' but couldn't resist teasing his friend. Jack smiled at the banter, showing no hard feelings.
Fellow soap stars chimed in on the post, with Coronation Street's Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) saying 'I think it suits you Jack,' and Emmerdale's Danny Miller writing 'Looking good brother.'

Jack and Ben's characters remain central to Coronation Street storylines. David Platt is dealing with Shona's troublesome sister Jodie Ramsey, while Nick faces a crisis as his son Sam Blakeman's mental health deteriorates.
