Jennifer Lopez sells Bel Air mansion for $34m after nine months on market

Jennifer Lopez has sold her Bel Air mansion in California for $34 million, nine months after first listing the property. The nine-bedroom home was the singer's last residence before she married Ben Affleck, and it had initially been on the market with an asking price of $42.5 million.

Lopez, 54, originally purchased the estate in 2016 for $28 million. The property boasts an outdoor amphitheatre with seating for 100 people, a private lake and beach, an indoor cinema, an infinity-edge pool, a gym and 13 bathrooms. According to listing agent Carolwood Estates, the home also includes extensive grounds with a guest cottage, a putting green, and a pagoda with a fire pit.

The eight-acre estate, spanning approximately 14,000 square feet, was previously owned by actor Sela Ward and her husband, entrepreneur Howard Sherman. The main house features a formal dining room, a chef's kitchen with a breakfast area and stone fireplace, and numerous terraces accessible from the entertaining rooms.

Meanwhile, Affleck, 51, sold his seven-bedroom Pacific Palisades estate around the time he married Lopez. The couple have since taken out a $20 million mortgage on a Beverly Hills mansion they purchased in cash earlier this year for $60.85 million.
