Yolanda Hadid Shares Emotional Support for Bella Amid Lyme Disease Battle

Yolanda Hadid has publicly expressed her support for daughter Bella Hadid following the model's recent hospitalisation due to Lyme disease. Bella, 28, was diagnosed with the chronic illness in 2013, alongside her mother and brother Anwar. The condition, caused by borrelia bacteria from tick bites, can cause severe symptoms including joint pain, fatigue, and neurological issues.

In an Instagram post, Yolanda shared photos of Bella in a hospital bed surrounded by medical equipment. She wrote: 'Watching my Bella struggle in silence has cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside me. The invisible disability of chronic neurological Lyme disease is hard to explain.' She praised Bella's resilience, calling her a 'badass Warrior' and vowing to continue fighting together.

Bella had previously posted about her health struggles, sharing images of blood transfusions and IV drips. She apologised for her absences, writing: 'I'm sorry I always go MIA I love you guys.' Her sister Gigi Hadid commented: 'I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!!!!!!'
