Bella Hadid's Ex-Boyfriend Adan Banuelos Arrested in Texas

Bella Hadid's former boyfriend, award-winning cowboy and horse trainer Adan Banuelos, was arrested in Texas on Saturday morning on a charge of public intoxication. The 36-year-old was released on bond after paying a fee of $386, according to jail records.

Mugshots released by the Parker County Sheriff's Office show Banuelos staring blankly into the camera, wearing a striped shirt. Neither Banuelos nor the sheriff's office responded to requests for comment.

The arrest comes shortly after rumours emerged that the couple had split. Hadid, 29, had been in a relationship with Banuelos since autumn 2023, but reports suggest the romance recently ended after a period of being on-again-off-again. Hadid celebrated the holidays without Banuelos in Aspen with friends.

Despite the reported split, Banuelos posted a sweet Instagram message in October wishing Hadid a happy anniversary, saying: 'Even with all the chaos and ugliness, He gave us something pure and beautiful.' He added: 'Love you, baby. I'll keep reminding you every day just how much.' Hadid also attended his competitive event at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in early December.

In a May 2025 interview with British Vogue, Hadid spoke fondly of Banuelos, saying he was working hard to 'hopefully build a home and a family one day.' She revealed they met while she was getting a cowboy hat fitted at a horse show in Texas. Banuelos, in a 2024 interview with W Magazine, said he did not know who Hadid was when they first met and that their connection was due to their shared passion for horses.
