Beckhams Shocked by Brooklyn's Family Feud Ad

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly 'shocked' after seeing their estranged son Brooklyn's big-money deal to advertise a food delivery service. In the ad, Brooklyn tells the camera: 'You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…' He ends the DoorDash ad laughing: 'It’s a long story.'

Family Estrangement

Brooklyn, 27, has been estranged from his family – including his siblings – for more than a year. Now sources close to David and Victoria say they’ve been left shocked over the 'attack' ad.

A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun: 'To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents are inconsolable… It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and then trying to cash in on it all. He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies – the World Cup – as an advertising selling point.'

Harper's Unannounced Visit

It comes after the drama surrounding his sister, Harper. Over the weekend, pictures emerged of Harper arriving at Brooklyn's home, which he shares with Nicola Peltz-Beckham. But while it appeared that the 14-year-old was extending an olive branch to her estranged sibling, things didn't go to plan. Just hours after the Beckhams, minus Brooklyn, gathered to see Sir David, honoured with a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Harper arrived at Brooklyn's home, still wearing the outfit from the ceremony. Sources indicated Harper turned up 'unannounced' and the move reportedly left Brooklyn feeling 'uncomfortable'.

Hitting out at the images, a spokesperson for Brooklyn told Page Six: 'That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.' This, however, angered sources close to Sir David and Victoria, who said the claims were 'nasty allegations'. Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: 'It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother.'

The Mirror has contacted Brooklyn's representatives for comment.
