David Beckham, 51, the co-owner and president of Inter Miami CF, reunited with his family at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Saturday to watch England's World Cup quarter-final clash against Norway. The family celebrated England's hard-won 2-1 victory, with David Beckham singing along to Oasis's Wonderwall alongside thousands of fans. He was photographed with his arm around his 23-year-old son Romeo as they belted out the classic together.
Family Reunion at the Stadium
David was later joined by the rest of his family, including wife Victoria Beckham, sons Cruz (21) and Romeo, and daughter Harper (15). Cruz's girlfriend Jackie Apostel was also in attendance. David shared a photo on Instagram with the caption: "What a moment in Miami. I'm so proud of the team tonight reaching the semi-final of the World Cup and to celebrate with my family was so special. Thank you England for giving our country these moments." Victoria posted similar photos, writing: "Special moment tonight in Miami with my family and for our country xxxx."
Brooklyn Watches from New York
Eldest son Brooklyn, 27, was notably absent from the family gathering. He watched the game remotely from New York with his wife Nicola Peltz, sharing a photo on his Instagram story showing he was tuning in. Brooklyn has been locked in a feud with his parents and is believed to no longer speak to his siblings, according to reports.
Feud and Controversial Advert
Earlier this month, Brooklyn faced backlash after the full version of his World Cup advert for DoorDash appeared to take another swipe at his family. Fans branded the campaign "distasteful." The advert sparked accusations that he was "cashing in" on his estrangement from his parents. Sources claim his famous parents have been left "inconsolable" by the advert.
The hot sauce entrepreneur has been engaged in a long-running feud with his parents since his explosive claim in January that they have been "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped." He also alleged that his wife, Nicola, had been "disrespected" by his family. Brooklyn has not made a public appearance with his parents nor acknowledged them on social media since his statement, in which he claimed his parents control narratives in the press about their family and put "Brand Beckham" first.
Brooklyn married Nicola, the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022.
