Insiders had described Brooklyn's speech at the Nelson Peltz estate in early August as "moving," with a source saying: "He spoke from the heart - and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice." The tribute is said to be a "dagger" to the Beckhams' hearts, as there was reportedly no similar acknowledgment of his own parents during the ceremony.
