The footage of Victoria Beckham's "very inappropriate" dance at Brooklyn Beckham's wedding is held by her son, according to sources, making him the only person who can legally release it.
In a scathing six-page statement, Brooklyn, 26, alleged that his mother "hijacked" his first dance with his wife Nicola Peltz, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. He said Marc Anthony called him to the stage in front of 500 guests, but instead of his planned romantic dance, his mother was waiting to dance with him.
He described the dance as "very inappropriate" and said he had never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in his entire life. He added that the couple wanted to renew their vows to create new memories of their wedding day that bring joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
A source told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn holds all the power over the video, and that releasing it could be the ultimate proof of his allegations. However, it is reported that he may not want to relive the moment on a hugely public scale, meaning the footage is unlikely to ever be shared.
Brooklyn also claimed that weeks before the wedding, his parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe him into signing away the rights to his name, affecting him, his wife and their future children. He declared that he does not want to reconcile with his family, accusing them of placing "countless lies" in the media to preserve their facade.
