David Beckham has paid a moving tribute to his daughter Harper on her 15th birthday, while her older brother Brooklyn has so far remained silent on social media. The siblings, who once shared a close bond, are now reportedly estranged after Brooklyn accused his parents, David and Victoria, of trying to sabotage his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz in January.
Harper's Heartbreak Over Family Rift
Harper, who turns 15 today, is said to have been deeply upset by the rift. She was photographed looking despondent last month while trying to deliver a letter to Brooklyn after their father received his Hollywood Star of Fame. It has since been claimed that Brooklyn "doesn't speak" to his little sister, a situation that has greatly upset mother-of-four Victoria.
A source told the Mail: "Harper is heartbroken and devastated at her brother’s decision not to speak to her and now her birthday is just days away it becomes a difficult scenario once again. They were so close. Now he won’t speak to her and she can’t understand why. There is nothing worse for Harper than him ignoring her on her birthday. All she wants is to have a relationship with her big brother. It is so horrifying and awful for David and Victoria to see."
David's Heartfelt Instagram Tribute
Taking to Instagram, David shared a series of cute photos of Harper as a baby, captioned: "My Pretty Lady is turning 15 today You are the perfect daughter , sweet , kind & a beautiful human with the best personality just like daddy we love you so much and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives , have the best day ever @harperbeckham @victoriabeckham thank you." This tribute comes despite the ongoing feud, which saw Brooklyn warn his father not to mention his name in public after David included him in a Father's Day post.
Brooklyn's Silence and Past Posts
It remains to be seen whether Brooklyn will post anything for Harper's birthday. However, it appears unlikely that the siblings will celebrate together anytime soon. Harper was reportedly hurt after her sister-in-law Nicola referred to Kenya Kinski-Jones as her "dream sister" following her brother Will's wedding two weeks ago. Brooklyn used to share many cute snaps of his sister on Instagram, but that has stopped since the feud began. Last year, on Harper's 14th birthday, Brooklyn posted a sweet message: "Happy birthday Harper we love u" alongside a photo of himself, Nicola, and Harper.
The family feud shows no sign of abating after Brooklyn went nuclear on his parents in January, a post that reportedly left Victoria "on the floor."
