Brooklyn Beckham's grandmother, Jackie Adams, has made a heartfelt plea for him to return home for Christmas, as the family rift continues to deepen. The 25-year-old chef is expected to spend the festive season in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, while his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, celebrate with extended family in the UK.
Jackie, Victoria's mother, displayed personalised Christmas stockings for all her grandchildren, including Brooklyn, in a video shared by Victoria on Instagram. The stockings were hung on a fireplace at Jackie's home, with the caption: “So many grandchildren!” However, sources close to the family say Jackie and David's mother, Sandra, are 'very sad' about the distance from Brooklyn, with whom they once shared a close bond.
Brooklyn has been notably absent from key family events this year, including his father's 50th birthday and Victoria's Netflix docuseries premiere. The couple also renewed their wedding vows earlier this year without informing the grandmothers, who were 'very surprised' by the news. Despite the tension, Jackie has maintained contact, recently commenting on one of Brooklyn's cooking videos: “That looks amazing Brooklyn. Lots of love.”
In a recent interview, Victoria spoke about the 'changing dynamics' in her family but did not mention Brooklyn directly. She described the family as 'close-knit' and emphasised the importance of communication. The rift has left the grandmothers feeling the absence most acutely, as they worry about when they will see Brooklyn next.
