Ross King, the presenter known for his work on Lorraine and currently appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, has been reported to have had a secret romance with an unidentified BBC star following the breakdown of his marriage.
According to a source, the pair had been friends for a while but nothing happened until long after he and his ex-wife Brianna Deutsch were separated. The romance was kept out of the public eye because of their profiles, with neither wanting the pressure of people talking, but it eventually fizzled out.
Ross, 63, is now said to be happy dating Bridget Siegel, 43, who has been seen supporting him at Strictly. His previous marriages were to Charley King from 1999 to 2006 and Brianna Deutsch, with the latter ending in recent years.
On the dance floor, Ross has had a mixed experience. He received a record-low score, the lowest since Quentin Wilson in 2004, and admitted he considered pulling out at one point. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, he said he thought he might have to raise his hands and say the show was not for him.
Despite the difficulty, Ross said he genuinely had fun and views the programme as a TV show rather than a competition. He will dance again this evening with his professional partner Jowita Przystal.
