Aubrey Plaza Welcomes First Child After Husband's Death

Aubrey Plaza has been seen out with her first child, a baby girl, a year and a half after the death of her husband, Jeff Baena. The actress, known for her role in Parks and Recreation, welcomed the child with her partner, Christopher Abbott.

Newborn Sighting in New York

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge said Plaza gave birth to a baby girl during the last week of July, making the couple a family of three. On 9 August, she was seen in New York City carrying the infant, who was wrapped in grey blankets and wore a white hat. Plaza wore a black vest, blue jeans, and large black sunglasses, with her hair in a ponytail, as she climbed into a white car.

Previous Marriage and Tragedy

Plaza was previously married to screenwriter and director Jeff Baena, who died by suicide in January 2025 at age 47. At the time, a statement from Plaza and the Baena/Stern family said: "This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time."
