Ashley Roberts turned heads with a cheeky topless display while on holiday in Barbados. The Pussycat Dolls star, 44, knelt on the sand and beamed at the camera as waves lapped at her feet.
Topless Snap and Emoji Cover-Up
She decided to ditch her top and pose for a sultry snap in the sea. The star covered up her chest using flower emojis to avoid getting slapped with an Instagram ban. She was having the time of her life on the Caribbean island with boyfriend George, 26, who she went public with in 2024.
Another snap saw her do a cartwheel on the beach while wearing a black bikini. She captioned her pics: "Rounding up the last of the barbs content." She also added a sweet snap of her and George.
Upcoming Tour and Health Struggles
Ashley and the Pussycat Dolls are gearing up for the UK leg of their Pussycat Dolls Forever tour. It kicks off in Birmingham on Tuesday, September 29.
Last year, Ashley released her book Breathwork: Techniques for better mental, emotional and physical health. She revealed that being in The Pussycat Dolls made her "really, really sick" and that there were no talks about mental health as it was a "different era."
The singer was left with arthritis, eczema, shingles, stomach ulcers and severe headaches during her time in the band, which shot to fame in the noughties. Things got so bad at one point that Ashley had to go to hospital.
Reflections on the Past
She told The Times: "I remember being on stage in New York with the crowd singing back the lyrics and thinking, ‘Oh, this is really happening.’ It was a fast, extreme rocket ship.
"There were no discussions around, ‘How is your mental health?’ It was a different era. Now, artists are coming forward to talk about their struggles and concerts are rejigged.
"I remember once we were in three countries in one day. Eventually, my body just got to the point of shutdown. I was really, really sick. I remember saying [in the hospital], ‘I need to get on a flight to Germany. I’ve got a show to do. You gotta give me something.’ That was the mentality."
She continued: "I was having extreme headaches, being sick. They found viral arthritis in my knee. I couldn’t do anything really.
"But that was my drive. And then when I finally got out of the Dolls [in 2010], I had eczema all over my legs, shingles across my face and a stomach ulcer. An acupuncturist told me then, ‘If you don’t scream, your body’s gonna scream for you.’"
She's now found that breathing exercises have helped her understand her body. The singer added: "My foundation is stronger. I’m not saying I’m some kind of guru, or that I’ve got a certificate saying I’ve got everything figured out. If anything, it’s the opposite. But I do feel better."
