Ant McPartlin marked his fifth wedding anniversary with an emotional Instagram post dedicated to his wife Anne-Marie Corbett. The TV star, known for his partnership with Declan Donnelly, shared a black-and-white photo from their wedding day on Friday.
A Romantic Admission
Alongside the image, Ant wrote: "Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary @mrsanthonymcpartlin. I'd do it all again tomorrow," followed by a red heart emoji. The couple married in 2021 at St Michael's Church in Heckfield, Hampshire, after meeting in 2018.
A Journey Through Turmoil
Ant, 50, and Anne-Marie, 48, got together shortly after his split from first wife Lisa Armstrong, 49, following more than a decade of marriage. Anne-Marie, who has two children from a previous relationship, had also recently separated. Ant has credited Anne-Marie with helping him recover after his 2018 drink-drive crash, and the couple welcomed their son Wilder in 2024.
In an interview with The Sun, Ant said: "Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life. She's been my rock. She's a beautiful soul. I'm in the best place I've been in my life, to be honest with you. It's great."
Love That 'Changed'
Describing their love as 'magic', Ant explained they only began their relationship after both were single. He added: "We've worked together for many years. But something changed. She was single, I was single. We were going through turmoil. It was the last thing on either of our minds to get into a relationship. But there we were and we were like, 'This felt so good, why deny it'."
Lisa's Journey
Ant's ex-wife Lisa has had a difficult time recently, but told the Mirror last year she was looking to move on after a "topsyturvy few years to say the least." She reportedly received £31 million in her divorce settlement and has been investing in property, recently buying a four-bed house near Oxford for over £700,000.
