Ansel Elgort Reveals Baby Mama Miona on Mother's Day

West Side Story actor Ansel Elgort took to Instagram on Monday morning to share multiple images of his newborn son, Neo, and finally disclosed the identity of his baby's mother. The 32-year-old first-time father, who has 14.5 million social media followers, captioned his slideshow: 'Happy Mother's Day my Miona.'

Family Photos and a Diamond Ring

In every picture featuring Miona, she was seen wearing what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring, though Elgort himself was not wearing a wedding band. This is not the first time the Japanese beauty has been spotted; she was photographed walking with little Neo and the Golden Globe nominee in New York City on January 13.

The couple was captured enjoying meals at various restaurants, and Elgort included a video of himself speaking fluent Japanese with his rumored fiancée while they cared for their infant, whose birth was officially announced on February 10.

An Intimate Glimpse into Fatherhood

In the video, the pair laughed as Neo kicked his tiny feet toward Miona's face in their bedroom. Elgort, who has 462,557 monthly listeners on Spotify, revealed his son's name while singing his new single, Canopy.

On February 10, the Tokyo Vice producer and star wrote: 'Fatherhood is exhilarating, exhausting, it's everything and more. The present feels more present and the future brighter. He wakes us up all night and yet I've never felt stronger during the day. He goes from crying to laughing, expressing everything he feels and it's freed me to do the same. I wanted to keep it sacred, just for us, but now I want to share this story with you as it's the brightest, happiest thing I've ever experienced. I hope it brings you happiness too. So much love.'

Previous Relationships and Family News

Elgort ended an on-and-off decade-long relationship with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komyshan, in 2022. Meanwhile, his father, Arthur Elgort, an 85-year-old fashion photographer, spent time in the hospital last week. Elgort's brother, Warren, shared photos of himself with their father in his hospital bed after the release of his documentary Models & Muses.

Past Allegations and Current Projects

In 2020, the artist formerly known as DJ Ansølo denied sexually assaulting a woman named Gabby in 2014, when she was 17 and he was 20, stating: 'I have never and would never assault anyone... What is true is that in New York in 2014, when I was 20, Gabby and I had a brief, legal and entirely consensual relationship.' However, he did not respond to three other women who accused him of sending them direct messages when they were between the ages of 14 and 16.

Currently, Elgort is filming his role as Count Hubert de Givenchy in Abe Sylvia's biographical drama Dinner With Audrey on the Budapest set, alongside Thomasin McKenzie as Audrey Hepburn. The film also stars Miranda Richardson, Judy Greer, and Michael Shannon, and focuses on the 40-year creative partnership between Hepburn and the French aristocrat-turned-designer after a magical night in Paris. Notably, Wayfarer Studios is co-producing the film following its recent legal settlement with Blake Lively.

Last February, Elgort co-starred with Shirley MacLaine and Thomas Haden Church in Howard Deutch's road trip comedy Lucy Boomer, set in New Mexico and based on Russell Hill's 1992 novel. The Fault in Our Stars alum is best known for playing Tony opposite Rachel Zegler's Maria in Steven Spielberg's 2021 musical remake of West Side Story, which underperformed at the box office despite positive reviews. Elgort attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in Manhattan's Upper West Side alongside four-time Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet and Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon.
