Anne Hathaway gave a master class in brushing off photographers when she revealed her baby bump at her latest film premiere. The Les Miserables star, 43, who has just wrapped up her epic press tour for The Odyssey, was back on the red carpet promoting science fiction flick, The End of Oak Street.
Baby bump on display
Anne, who has two kids with husband, Adam Shulman, kept her baby bump hidden for The Odyssey tour in a collection of gorgeously flowing frocks. However, for her latest red carpet appearance, she proudly displayed her figure, wearing a cropped blue top and jeans, with her beautiful bump on show.
The photographers went wild when Anne appeared, with one excitable member of the paparazzi instructing: "Hands on the belly, Ma'am!" However, shaking her head gracefully, Anne refused before smiling sweetly and continued to pose up a storm in front of the sea of flashing cameras.
Fans praise the star
Praising the pregnant star for her appearance, one fan wrote on X: "Low-slung jeans, high pony, red lip.. She let the silhouette do the talking. Clean, confident, and camera-ready. Proof that maternity style doesn’t need a gown to slay." Meanwhile, another said: "The baby bump adding extra glow!"
Temperatures were edging toward 100 degrees in Los Angeles for the premiere but that didn't stop Anne or her co-stars Maisy Stella, Ewan McGregor, Alexa Davis and Christian Convery from promoting the film.
Third pregnancy surprise
The actress recently admitted she was "shocked" to get pregnant so easily again at 43. The Devil Wears Prada actress recently announced she was expecting her third child with husband Adam. The couple, who married in 2012, already share two sons together - Jonathan, 10, and six-year-old Jack. But when it came to trying for a third she thought they would find it harder to conceive with them both being in their 40s.
To their surprise it happened quickly and the pair announced the happy news they would soon be a family of five in a sweet Instagram post in June. Keeping the announcement low key, Anne wore a white flowy dress that gave a glimpse of her growing bump. She simply captioned the post: "x Baby, I'm yours x."
Appearing on the US talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers, Anne opened up about her third pregnancy and joked that while she and husband Adam "knew what they were doing", they were stunned to discover they were expecting. Anne shared: "Oh, my gosh. It's amazing. It's amazing. I mean, we knew what we were doing, but we were so shocked it worked."
