Anna Faris enjoyed a day out on Sunday with her five-year-old son Jack and new boyfriend Michael Barrett. The 41-year-old actress left the heavy lifting to her cinematographer beau, who carried Jack on his shoulders.
The youngster, whose father is Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, seemed at ease with Barrett, pulling down on his baseball cap as Barrett held his ankles. The outing suggests Faris's new relationship is getting serious, just four months after she and Pratt publicly announced their separation.
Faris dressed for the warm Los Angeles weather in a cropped tiger-face tee and distressed pale blue jeans, accessorised with a camouflage baseball cap, sunglasses and grey shearling ankle boots. Jack wore a sports singlet, shorts and Nike sneakers, while Barrett opted for a grey t-shirt, blue jeans and brown hiking boots.
Pratt, 38, filed for divorce from Faris on 1 December, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting joint custody of their son. Faris responded by also seeking joint custody and the right to receive child support. Last week, Pratt took Jack to a basketball game at the Staples Center, where they shared popcorn and water while watching the LA Clippers.
