Amber Davies has emotionally shared the impact of meeting Jake Hall in her teens as she paid tribute after attending his funeral last week. The former TOWIE star died in May at a holiday villa in Majorca, aged 35, after suffering from head injuries. He was said to be found in a pool of blood with head wounds, caused by shards of glass.
On Friday (June 12), his family and friends paid tribute to the star at his funeral, along with an immersive exhibition. Jake Hall's ex-girlfriend Chloe Lewis and the mother of his child, Misse Beqiri, were among those present at the service, which took place at St Mary the Virgin, in Wanstead, London.
Hall, who ran a menswear brand, By Jake Hall, joined the cast of Towie in 2015, and dated co-star Chloe before quitting in 2024. He also dated Misse, with whom he has a daughter, River, eight. A memorial followed at Unlocked Shoreditch, owned by his brother Sonny, and featured performances from his friends Maverick Sabre, Tom Grennan, and The Kooks.
It was an evening of art and fashion, paying tribute to Hall's life, and included a fashion installation, an art exhibition of Jake’s original paintings, live performances, and a club night.
Sharing pictures from the moving celebration of Hall's life, West End star Amber wrote on her Instagram Story: "Until we dance again Jakey." The Strictly Come Dancing 2025 finalist shared more details of how she knew the former reality star.
Alongside pictures of her admiring his artwork, she wrote: "When I was 18 I met these two nutty brothers. The Hall brothers - paths that were always destined to cross. Over a decade worth of memories will never be enough but I will forever be grateful to have known Jake in my lifetime. So unbelievably proud of you @sonnyhall__. May his magic and legacy live on forever and beyond through you, and beautiful River."
Jake's family are launching The Choose Everything Foundation, in his memory, with all proceeds directed towards its formation, and his daughter River. Some of the works featured at the memorial are available to buy on the Choose Everything website.
According to the Daily Mail, Sonny said: "We wanted to give Jake a send-off that matched who he was - not a quiet room, not a conventional goodbye. He lived out loud. He built things. He made people feel something. Last night was our way of saying: we saw you. We're proud of you. And we're not done yet. The art, the foundation, everything we're building in his name - that's the mission continuing. Choose everything."
