Amanda Holden shares naked video after holiday mishap

Amanda Holden has shared a video of herself completely naked, filmed by her husband Chris Hughes during a holiday. The Britain's Got Talent judge, 55, was applying moisturiser when she dropped the bottle down the back of a chest of drawers. She then straddled the furniture to retrieve it, before realising her husband had recorded the whole incident.

Radio show revelation

Recounting the story to her Heart Breakfast co-host JK, Amanda said: "I was applying moisturiser and my moisturiser went down the back of a unit in a hotel, so I had to straddle this drawer thing and get around the back to do it."

In response, JK asked: "Naked?!" to which the TV star confirmed: "I was totally naked. And then I had to reverse out because it was only a small gap I’d pulled out – because it was heavy."

She added: "My husband, who was on his phone rather than helping me, told me he’d videoed the entire thing."

Husband's reaction

Amanda then told her radio co-star: "But I did retrieve the moisturiser, you’ll be pleased to know…" and he replied: "It’s nice to see that Chris is still playing the annoying husband. That’s what I like."

In the footage, which was pixelated and saw Amanda's modesty covered with the Union Flag, she grabbed a high heel to get hold of her bottle of lotion. Upon spotting her husband's phone, she said: "Don’t you dare video this," and, walking towards the bathroom, pleaded: "Can you stop videoing!"

Career and family background

Prior to landing her signature role as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, Amanda starred in the West End production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, and then appeared in TV dramas like Cutting It and Wild At Heart. From 1995 until 2003, she was married to former Coronation Street star Les Dennis and then tied the knot with Chris in 2008, with whom she has daughters Lexi, 20, and 14-year-old Hollie.

Earlier this year, she discussed wardrobe malfunctions on her radio show and revealed that men could also become victim to them. She said: "This makes my husband look really bad, but it’s very funny. We once went to Center Parcs with our lovely friend. This is ages ago and our friend's dad was bringing his kid out of the pool, he was holding the kid in his arms and Chris pulled his trunks down. He had nowhere to go except walk out of the pool with a baby in his arms."

When asked if Chris' friend had managed to seek revenge on him, she said: "No you can’t get Chris back, he does a double knot on his…he’s learnt."
