Alison Hammond, 51, has shared a rare photograph with her boyfriend David Putman, 30, as she celebrated her birthday. The This Morning presenter and the model, who have been together since 2023, looked smitten in the image posted on Instagram Stories.
David wrote alongside the photo: “Happy Birthday to my love,” tagging Alison’s account. The couple appeared devoted, with Alison hugging David close and beaming, while David, wearing a flat cap and glasses, gazed at the camera.
The pair met when David was working as a masseur, and despite a 21-year age gap, Alison has previously dismissed critics. She told Good Housekeeping: “I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference. Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand.”
Alison has also addressed speculation about engagement, after wearing a pink diamond ring on her left ring finger while hosting This Morning. She laughed off the rumours on air, but later teased: “I wouldn’t say no. I might marry myself…” She praised David for his support, adding: “He loves it. He just supports me.”
Earlier this week, Dermot O’Leary wished Alison a happy birthday on Instagram, calling her “the funniest, most kind, wise, loyal partner and friend.” Alison, who has never been married, shares a son named Aiden with ex-partner Noureddine Boufaied.
