Ali Keating Confirms Relationship with Jockey Rossa Ryan at Ascot

Ronan Keating's daughter Ali has made her new relationship official after quietly ending things with former jockey partner Mikey Sheehy. The 20-year-old daughter of Boyzone icon Ronan Keating was pictured alongside Galway jockey Rossa Ryan, 25, at Royal Ascot in Berkshire.

Royal Ascot Appearance

It was there she also watched her new beau compete from the stands. And she was a good-luck charm on at least one occasion after Ryan raked his way to victory on Tuesday. In photographs posted to her Instagram, Ali stood beside a smartly dressed Rossa. And she looked stunning in a delicate blush-pink dress paired with a coordinating fascinator.

Social Media Announcement

She accompanied the images with a simple heart emoji. And this prompted an array of warm messages for the new couple. One admirer commented: "Wow Ali - lady in pink, what a beautiful lady, handsome couple!!" Another added: "Beautiful Allie!! And your man is alright too!"

Her mother, Yvonne, expressed her approval with a straightforward: "Gorgeous (heart eyes emoji)." Meanwhile her brother, Jack, showed his support with a series of rocket ship emojis.

Rossa Ryan's Racing Success

Rossa, who enjoyed success at the races, hails from Ballinderry near Tuam and is the son of respected horse trainer David Ryan. Despite his youth, he has already built an impressive racing career with several victories to his name. He secured yet another triumph on Tuesday at Royal Ascot. That's after he took home the Copper Horse Stakes, which carries prize money of almost €130,000.

Previous Relationship

Ali was formerly in a relationship with another professional jockey, Sheehy. The couple began dating in 2023 and Ali even accompanied him to the premiere of Boyzone: No Matter What last year.

How They Met

Reflecting on how the pair first met, Ali explained: "Everyone kind of knows everyone in the equestrian industry, so we just got talking after he came back from Australia. Since we share that love of horses, we get to ride out together and we both produce the horses together now and sell them. We're always there to support each other; he goes to my shows, and I go to his races, so it's a great love to have."
