Paloma Faith has shared a new video on Instagram showing her growing baby bump, following her reconciliation with Alan Carr after their Celebrity Traitors fallout. The singer, 44, announced last month that she is expecting her third child, her first with boyfriend Stevie Thomas. She is already mother to two daughters from her previous relationship with Leyman Lahcine.
In the clip, posted on Saturday, Paloma compared her first pregnancy with her current one. The video opens with snapshots of her carrying her two daughters before cutting to her lying on a red bed wearing a lace jumpsuit. Looking at the camera, she says: "Hi boys. Mummy's making milk," before breaking into a smirk.
Fans and friends were quick to comment, with one writing: "God, I don’t even look this hot when I’m NOT pregnant!" Paloma announced her pregnancy in October with a series of photos in which she posed with her pet dog, wearing a sports jersey and a polka dot skirt. She captioned the post: "Plot twist, mother is mothering (again)," adding hashtags including #18weekspregnant.
The latest post comes after she ended her public feud with Alan Carr. On the show, Alan - a Traitor - murdered Paloma in plain sight during the first elimination, despite their prior friendship. He went on to win the series and donated his £87,500 prize to charity. Rumours of a rift surfaced when Alan appeared to ignore Paloma's pregnancy announcement online.
Speaking to Ed Gamble on Uncloaked, Paloma explained her feelings: "Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, the reason why Alan won and the reason why I was so sad was because we all love him so much. I love you so much and I’m so happy that you won because it’s b*****y worth it then. You hurt me and I loved you." Alan apologised to her, and the pair appear to have restored their friendship.
