Adult star Christian Styles, whose real name was Zachary Jaghab, has died suddenly at the age of 29, marking another tragic loss for the industry. He passed away on Thursday, August 20.
Medical examiner confirms death
The Wayne County Medical Examiner in Michigan, USA, confirmed his death to local media but provided no further details. His family announced the news through an online obituary and a memorial fundraiser, with the cause and manner of death not yet publicly disclosed or determined.
A GoFundMe set up by family friend Tammy Sultana describes the loss as a “sudden and heartbreaking” one, as loved ones work to cover funeral and burial costs.
Family faces health struggles
The fundraiser notes that Zachary’s parents, Johnny and Ellen, are also dealing with serious health issues, including battles with cancer, leaving the family under “massive emotional and financial strain”. Jaghab, known as “Zack”, is described as the “cherished youngest son” of Johnny and Ellen, a “beloved brother” to Tonya Faris and Jacob Jaghab, and an “adored uncle, family member, and dear friend to many”.
The page adds: “The funds raised will go toward Zack’s funeral and burial expenses so his family can give him the proper farewell he deserves without the added weight of financial stress.” At the time of writing, the GoFundMe had raised $7,558 (about £5,970) of a $20,000 target (about £15,790).
Funeral arrangements and career
Public services were scheduled for Tuesday (August 25). A visitation viewing took place in the morning at the Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church in Livonia, Michigan, followed by burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
Born and raised in Canton, Michigan, Jaghab briefly worked as a flight attendant before entering the adult entertainment industry in 2021, where he quickly found major success. He also built a large online following, amassing more than one million fans across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where he promoted his online adult content.
Within the LGBTQIA+ adult industry, he was widely recognised and won a fan-voted GayVN Award in 2023 for “Favorite All-Male Creator Collab” alongside co-star Chris Damned. This comes as popular adult content creator Seth Peterson died aged 38 back in March.
Peterson was found dead at his home in Los Angeles in the US, the Daily Star previously reported. In a statement on Seth's own social media accounts, his fiancé described how his "heart is broken" by the news. Fiancé Kobe Marsh, who also works in the adult entertainment industry under the name Cyrus Stark, wrote on X: "It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my Fiance and best friend Seth."
