Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray has given fans a rare glimpse into his romantic life, revealing he is considering a holiday with an ex-partner. The TV personality, known for his role in Citizen Khan, has long kept his personal life private, but a recent live discussion on the ITV show changed that.
A Rare Admission on Live TV
During a debate about holidaying with former partners, Adil admitted he and his ex remain good friends and have discussed taking a trip together. He said: "I am good friends with my ex. She needs a holiday, and I need a holiday, and we are both thinking about it."
His co-host Kate Garraway was visibly surprised, telling him: "You never talk about your romantic life." Adil clarified he is currently single and simply gets on well with his former partner. He even joked about sharing a room to save money, insisting they could remain "purely platonic," which drew laughter and disbelief from the panel, with Kerry Katona joking he was "pushing it."
Looking for 'The One'
Although Adil rarely discusses romance, he has previously hinted he hopes to settle down. In a 2021 interview with OK! magazine, he admitted dating during the COVID-19 lockdown was challenging and said he was "looking for The One."
Has Adil Ever Been Married?
There is no public record of Adil having been married, and he has never confirmed any long-term partners. His recent comments offer a rare insight, but he continues to keep details of his past relationships private.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1.
