Caroline Thomas, wife of actor Adam Thomas, was left in tears after receiving heartfelt comments from her brother-in-law Ryan during an emotional episode of the family podcast.
Brothers' tribute leaves Caroline emotional
Caroline joined her husband and his siblings, Ryan and Scott, on the latest episode of At Home with the Thomas Bros. As the podcast drew to a close, Scott said: "We kind of we wanted to end the podcast on a bit of a high, Caroline, because as much as Adam says some outrageous stuff on this podcast about you, he also says some really beautiful stuff about you as well. So, we want to share with you a little montage of some special moments..."
After the montage, Scott added: "Well, I think I think Caroline on behalf of me and Adam and Ryan, all the brothers, we're just so grateful for you. You are literally like the best sister we could ever have asked for and everything you do for us - even just this is so out of your comfort zone, allowing us to do this."
Ryan's personal tribute
Caroline became emotional as Ryan shared his thoughts. "You've been you've been there since these boys were kids and you've looked after all of us. Like, I couldn't have got through what I got through with Scarlet [his daughter] as a single parent. You were just my backbone, not just Adam and Scott's."
He continued: "I am grateful I've got you and the family. You look after Lucy [Mecklenburgh, his fiancee], you're always there for my kids, you know, Scarlett turns up at your hotel on your little romantic weekend away. It's just when we're down and out sometimes, we all need you. And I know you take on all of us and we're just so grateful that you are in this family and you support us all and you look after us."
Ryan concluded: "So from all of us, from all the Bromeies, from all the team, thank you from the bottom of our heart. We love you so much." Caroline admitted: "I wasn't expecting this!" Ryan encouraged: "Big round of applause to Caroline!"
Scott's additional praise
Scott then said: "You've just been a fairy tale wife, sister, like godmother to all of us and we're just so grateful, Caroline... What you've done for me over the years as well, when I was I was single... You picked me up from the police station before! You've saved me so many times and you've always made me so welcome as part of your family, and I'm just so grateful. You're just amazing, and we love you!"
Adam and Caroline, who met in 2007 when Adam was 19 and appearing on Waterloo Road, have been married for over a decade and share two children, son Teddy and daughter Elsie-Rose Thomas.
