Adam Sandler's daughters, Sadie (13) and Sunny (10), joined their father onstage at the Rock4EB! fundraiser in Malibu on Sunday, performing a cover of Taylor Swift's 'Lover' while Sandler played guitar. The event raised funds for epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic skin condition.
The girls sang in front of an A-list audience including Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Courteney Cox, Kaley Cuoco and Rami Malek. Sandler had performed stand-up earlier, and introduced his daughters as 'so excited and nervous' about their performance. They delivered a near-flawless rendition, with a tweaked lyric changing 'Hanukkah lights' to 'Christmas lights'.
Sandler, 53, has previously said he would support his daughters if they chose to enter show business. 'Whatever they're excited about in their lives, I'll back them up,' he told Us Weekly at the event. The girls frequently join him on tour and have performed on stage before, including Sunny singing 'A Million Dreams' from The Greatest Showman at a New Jersey show.
Sandler is married to Jacqueline Titone, who converted to Judaism. The couple have two daughters: Sadie, born in May 2006, and Sunny, born in November 2008.
