Caroline Peaty, mother of Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, has publicly shown support for her son's ex-partner Eirianedd Munro amid a bitter family feud that has seen her uninvited from his wedding to Holly Ramsay. The 59-year-old left a sweet comment on Munro's Instagram post, praising her mother's appearance, which Munro acknowledged with a red heart emoji.
The rift became public last week when Caroline was barred from attending Holly's hen do at Soho Farmhouse, and tensions have reportedly been simmering since the couple got engaged last September without inviting Adam's wider family. A source told The Sun that Caroline is 'devastated' by the situation, and that her continued bond with Munro, who shares five-year-old son George with Adam, has been a source of support.
Munro, who met Adam on Tinder and fell pregnant three months after going Instagram official in 2020, split from the swimmer in 2022. She has since moved to Wales with George and lives a quiet life as an artist. Despite the split, she has publicly congratulated Adam on his upcoming wedding, calling Holly 'wonderful' and 'a positive presence' in their lives.
Adam and Holly, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, are set to marry this Christmas, with only Adam's sister expected to attend. The Olympian previously apologised for 'letting down' Munro and their son in a statement following their split.
