Adam Peaty's family drama has taken another twist, with more baby news arriving as the Olympian prepares to welcome his daughter with Holly Ramsay.
Adam is expecting a baby with his wife Holly, with their daughter due in December. His sister Bethany is also pregnant, while his brother Jamie and his wife Charlotte are expecting a child of their own. The news has reportedly brought mixed emotions for the family, who are said to believe the new cousins could miss out on growing up together unless the rift is repaired.
Bittersweet Arrivals Amid Family Rift
"They are all over the moon about another grandchild on the way," a source claimed. "But it's bittersweet because it's also another cousin that Adam's baby won't get to know unless things are patched up."
"They could grow up all three of them together, it would be so lovely for the Caroline and the rest of the family." The source then added to the Daily Mail: "It's a real shame because babies should bring joy for the whole family."
Fallout Before Wedding
Adam fell out with his family ahead of his December 2025 wedding to Holly, with relatives reportedly choosing not to attend the special day. The reported fallout began over Holly's decision not to invite Adam's mother Caroline to her bridal shower celebrations. Adam's brother James was also accused of sending threatening texts to Adam while he was abroad in Hungary for his stag.
The timing means the family could soon have three new arrivals close together. Adam's sister is due to give birth just a few weeks after Adam and Holly's baby arrives in December, while Jamie and Charlotte's child is expected in around three months, in November.
Pregnancy Announcement and Family Background
Adam and Holly announced their pregnancy in June with a post on Instagram showing Holly's growing baby bump. She wrote: "Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can't wait to meet our baby girl."
The baby will be 26-year-old Holly's first child and 32-year-old Adam's second. The swimmer already has a five-year-old son, George-Anderson Adetola Peaty, who was born in September 2020 to Adam and his ex-partner Eirianedd Munro. The new arrival will be Adam and Holly's first child together.
Emotional Reaction at Commonwealth Games
At the end of July, Adam was snapped kissing Holly's growing bump at the Commonwealth Games, where he was competing. He was also seen in tears after one result during the competition, suggesting his failure to clinch the top spot was linked to the 's***' he has been through as of late.
"It's hard because I know how hard I work. I know the s*** I've been through, which is no fault of my own, but it does take its toll. I'm not crying because it's bronze instead of gold. I'm crying because I know I am better than that. I feel like I couldn't have put any more in and that's where it hurts, because I'm like, 'What's the point of all the metres every day, what's the point of being exhausted all the time?'" he said.
