Home and Away actress Ada Nicodemou has opened up about the romantic moment her co-star and fiancé James Stewart proposed on Valentine's Day. The 48-year-old television star described feeling 'very surprised' when Stewart, 50, got down on one knee during their special evening together.

In an exclusive interview with Perth Now, Nicodemou revealed that while she anticipated the proposal might happen eventually, the timing caught her completely off guard. 'I knew it was coming, but didn't know when,' she confessed. The couple had planned a Valentine's Day dinner, but Stewart suggested they take a walk to their favourite spot first.
'Jimmy suggested that we should go for a little walk first, to our favourite spot and have a kiss,' Nicodemou explained. 'And that's where he surprised me by going down on one knee. It was very special.'
Working and Living Together
The actress spoke warmly about sharing both professional and personal life with her future husband. 'I am also very lucky that I go home to my scene partner,' she said. 'So we can talk out anything we need to talk out as well, do our lines. But we can also forget about it all, and just be with each other. It's good.'

Stewart shared precious footage on social media capturing the heartfelt proposal moment, showing him beaming as he delivered his vows to Nicodemou in a public setting.
