Nevertheless, the fresh series will appear somewhat different this time as the presenter took to Instagram to outline a novel element audiences can anticipate.

In footage, she revealed: "So, the big twist. You could be part of the new series because we are looking for people who are renovating their home here on the Costa del Sol so that we can follow your story."

"I can come by and visit, maybe lend a hand, we all know how good I am at DIY now. So keep an eye on here, I'm going to be posting all the details of how you can get in touch and be part of it."

It wasn't long before individuals responded to the post, with numerous people expressing their enthusiasm regarding the announcement. One viewer remarked: "Ooohhh, what a wonderful surprise, Jasmine. We can't wait for the new series."

Another person said: "So pleased to hear there is going to be a series 2, how exciting!"

A further comment read: "Jasmine just can't wait, it's going to be fantastic!" One supporter posted: "Wow, what a lovely opportunity." Another person enthused: "Love the twist."

While specifics regarding the transmission date for the new series remain under wraps, Jasmine hinted that further obstacles lie ahead for herself and her family.

She explained: "We're so thrilled that Jasmine Harman's Renovation in the Sun has been commissioned for a second series. Filming the first series was such an experience, and we were truly humbled by the support from viewers."

"It was wonderful to share both the reality and excitement of starting a new life in Spain. We've still got plenty more renovation challenges ahead of us, so I can't wait to continue the journey and start filming again."

The first series of Jasmine Harman's Renovation in the Sun is available to watch on Channel 4.
