Haircare brand Merwave has created a £65 five-piece kit designed specifically for wavy hair, and it has amassed over 5,999 positive reviews. The brand was founded in 2021 by Abi Reid, who identified a gap in the market for products tailored to wavy hair rather than straight or curly textures.
According to a Merwave survey, 47% of women did not realise their hair was naturally wavy. The kit includes Cleanse Shampoo, Repair Conditioner, Wave Cream, Cast Foam and Protect Gel. The formulations are free from silicones, sulphates and parabens, and feature natural ingredients such as jojoba oil, avocado extract and flaxseed extract.
What's in the kit
The bundle is worth £85 but sold for £65, saving shoppers £20. The brand says the kit lasts three months and is suitable for all wavy hair types, including dyed, bleached or grey hair. The products can be used together or separately.
The routine starts with shampoo and conditioner, followed by Wave Cream for smoothing and hydration. Cast Foam is applied to wet or dry hair to define waves through scrunching, and Protect Gel controls frizz and flyaways.
