West Lothian venues land four Scottish Bar & Pub Awards finalist spots

Three West Lothian venues have secured four finalist places at the Scottish Bar & Pub Awards 2026, celebrating the region's hospitality scene.

Awards celebrate 31 years of hospitality excellence

Now in its 31st year, the Scottish Bar & Pub Awards is Scotland's longest running celebration of pubs, bars, restaurants and the people who make them great. The awards have become one of the biggest nights on the licensed trade calendar, recognising businesses, teams and individuals who go above and beyond across Scotland.

This year's awards will feature a Glam Rock theme, bringing rock 'n' roll glamour to the celebrations on Tuesday, September 1.

West Lothian finalists announced

West Lothian is strongly represented among this year's finalists, with Arrowz Sports Lounge in Broxburn, Commercial Inn in Fauldhouse and The Four Mary's in Linlithgow all picking up nominations.

Arrowz Sports Lounge is enjoying a particularly strong showing, with the Broxburn venue named a finalist for both Best Bar Team and Sims Automatics Sports Bar of the Year. Commercial Inn in Fauldhouse is in the running for Community Pub of the Year, while The Four Mary's in Linlithgow is also a finalist for Sunday Mail Pub of the Year.

The four finalist places highlight the strength and diversity of West Lothian's hospitality scene, with recognition across sports bars, community pubs and the teams behind them.

Publisher praises local hospitality talent

Publisher Susan Young said: "It is fantastic to see such a strong showing from West Lothian's hospitality businesses this year.

"What I love about these nominations is the sheer variety. We have a brilliant sports bar picking up two finalist places, alongside community pubs and established local favourites. It really demonstrates the quality and diversity of West Lothian's hospitality scene.

"The people working in hospitality are the real stars of these awards, and it is wonderful to see so many from West Lothian getting the recognition they deserve."

More than 600 of Scotland's hospitality stars will gather on 1 September for the Scottish Bar & Pub Awards, with the industry embracing this year's Glam Rock theme and finding out who will take home Scotland's highest hospitality honours.
