The Traitors winner Leanne Quigley has separated from her fiancée Sophie Jones after more than seven years together. The 30-year-old former soldier, who pretended to be a nail technician on series three of the hit show and ultimately won it with Jake Brown, has split from her long-term partner, 33.
Couple focus on co-parenting twin sons
During their relationship, the former couple had twin boys Harley and Hudson together, now three. The pair now plan to focus on co-parenting their two sons instead, after getting engaged in August 2024 before Leanne appeared on The Traitors in January 2025.
A rep for Leanne told The Sun on Monday: “We can confirm Leanne and Sophie have separated; their focus continues to be their two beautiful boys.”
“It’s a very sad, but amicable split,” a source close to Leanne and Sophie added. “They grew apart over the years but will continue to co-parent their boys.”
Wedding plans and IVF discussions
Sophie was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2024, just a month after Leanne returned home from filming, but later received the all-clear after her grade 3 diagnosis as Leanne’s triumph as a faithful was aired on BBC One at the start of the following year.
Following her win, Leanne had revealed their lavish plans to tie the knot and try for another child. “We have a wedding to plan, and we’re actually going to start it right now. We haven’t set a date yet, but yeah, we’re going to get on that straight away and probably just discuss IVF again, which we won’t do just yet,” she told Metro at the time. “The boys are only two. We’re really enjoying some family time. But yeah, we’re really excited.”
Leanne also told of how she was hoping to marry Sophie in Scotland’s Ardross Castle, where BBC reality show The Traitors is filmed, using some of her £47,300 prize money, her half of the £94,600 winnings which she shared with Jake, for the big day.
She told the Daily Mail: “We have got wedding planning to do. We have just started. We haven’t set a date yet but yeah we can get a wedding going. I actually looked at the castle because I didn’t realise you could get married there. That would be so iconic. I would actually love that.”
She also planned to invite her fellow Traitors co-stars to the nuptials, adding: “I mean, the most incredible people I’ve ever met in my life, and the genuine love that we all have for each other. We’ve all had a few meet ups since leaving the castle and every time we see each other, it’s just all love. It’s so lovely.”
Co-star Freddie Fraser comes out
News of Leanne’s split comes just after her Traitors co-star Freddie Fraser came out, hard launching his relationship with his new partner a year after splitting with his girlfriend. The 22-year-old has not publicly spoken about his sexuality, but it was reported that he had broken up with his girlfriend Nisha Davenport last summer after they met at university.
The pair were dating when he entered the castle for the third civilian series, first as a Faithful before he was recruited by the Traitors – only to be thrown under the bus. His new partner, Bailey Ramsden, is a fellow social media influencer, who had been regularly popping up on Freddie’s Instagram in recent weeks before Freddie shared snaps of the pair kissing in a photo booth.
The latest series victor Stephen Libby wrote: “The hard launch we LOVE to see,” while his show mum Francesca Rowan-Plowden – who many speculated might be his real mother when they were in Ardross Castle – commented: “Love seeing you so happy. We love you xxx.” Leanne also commented over the weekend on Freddie’s post, who she’s close with, writing: “My whole heart.”
