Thousands of attendees gathered at Chester Racecourse for the highly anticipated Powells Jewellery Ladies Day, one of the biggest fixtures in the social calendar, combining style, elegance, and racing.

The ECHO attended the event and spotted thousands of attendees dressed to the nines. From glamorous dresses and suits to showstopping hats, attendees went all out at this year's event.

Alongside the Ladies Day Best Dressed Competition, guests enjoyed a thrilling afternoon of racing before dancing the evening away with headline DJ, radio host and television personality Marvin Humes, who performed live after racing.

Louise Stewart, CEO at Chester Race Company, said: "Ladies Day is one of those fixtures where guests really embrace the sense of occasion. The racing is always important, but the style, vibrancy and atmosphere around the course are a huge part of what makes it special."

William Powell, Director at Powells Jewellery, said: "We’re incredibly proud to once again be partnering with Chester Racecourse for Powells Jewellery Ladies Day. Our family business was founded by my grandparents 60 years ago next year; Chester has now been our home for the past 25 years."

Best Dressed Winner

Amanda Turner won the Best Dressed competition on Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse today. The event featured a gallery of 56 pictures capturing the day's highlights, including racegoers in vibrant outfits, coordinated colour schemes, and attendees enjoying the music and atmosphere.

Gates opened at midday, with the first race scheduled for 2.05pm. Attendees danced the evening away as Marvin Humes DJ'd at the end of Ladies Day.
