The Ivy Manchester Unveils New Rooftop Terrace with Celebrities

The Ivy Manchester has opened a fully revamped rooftop terrace at its Spinningfields venue, just in time for the summer heatwave. The new space, located on the top floor of the restaurant's three-storey wooden block, features a retractable roof, a new bar, and private dining areas.

VIP Launch Attracts Stars

A VIP launch night was held to celebrate the opening, drawing Coronation Street actors Antony Cotton, Lucy Fallon, and Julia Goulding, as well as TikTok star Luke Hamnett and Harry Styles' mother Anne Twist. Guests enjoyed champagne, cocktails, and live entertainment.

New Features and Design

The rooftop has been split into multiple sections available for private bookings, making it a summer party hotspot. The centrepiece is a new rooftop bar serving signature cocktails inspired by Manchester's energy. The design incorporates worker bee motifs and botanical influences, reflecting the city's industrial heritage.

Lisa Biard, General Manager at The Ivy Spinningfields Brasserie, said: "We're delighted to officially welcome guests to our new rooftop destination. The vision was to create a space that captures the energy of Manchester while offering a sophisticated escape above the city." She added that the rooftop has always been a much-loved part of the venue, and the transformation elevates the experience further.

The Ivy Manchester's new rooftop is now open to the public.
