Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb has confessed to feeling anxious ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing live shows, revealing he has even dreamed about falling during his first performance. The confession came in a prank clip shared on Instagram by his co-star Danny Miller, who hid a camera while asking the Scot awkward questions about potentially failing on the night.
Series 24 of Strictly kicked off last week with 15 celebrities paired with their professional dancers. Lawrence was partnered with Jowita Przystał and is set to perform a Paso Doble to Harry Styles' Aperture. The 34-year-old hopes his debut will be smooth sailing, but nerves have crept in despite his excitement.
Hidden camera prank
In the video, Danny asked Lawrence what he would do if he fell during his performance on the first night. Lawrence admitted he may have dreamed about falling on stage once or twice, which Danny quickly classed as a nightmare. Adding the pressure of potentially falling in front of eight million people and turning into a meme, the star was seen to nervously laugh.
Lawrence responded: "Oh shut the front door. I don't know. Are you trying to make me feel anxious?" He then admitted he is "100 per cent" more likely to forget his steps on the night than fall over on the ballroom floor. After joking about keeping his job on Emmerdale if he embarrasses himself, Danny revealed he had been secretly filming the conversation, much to Lawrence's shock.

Many fans found the clip hilarious. One person wrote: "This is way too funny but great questions Danny!" Another added: "His face at the end! Bless him." A third fan noted: "The fact he didn't once swear at you is massively impressive," while another wished him luck: "Ahh he's so lovely good luck for tonight."
Lawrence previously shared that he was taking part in Strictly for his family, with his mum being a super fan of the show. He said: "The number one factor I think would be my mum, my gran, and my partner. My mum is arguably more excited about it than I am, and for someone that is going to host Strictly parties every Saturday, I kind of feel like I owe it to her to do at least relatively well so she can carry on hosting them!"
Dance experience and debut
He also opened up about having some dance experience, describing it as "very minimal" and more reserved for the wedding dance floor. The Emmerdale star said: "Lacklustre at best... Between singing, dancing, and acting, I would place dancing right down at the bottom. But my gosh can I carve up a wedding dance floor with gusto!"
He added: "I trained under the umbrella of the Dance School of Scotland, but that was doing musical theatre in the same building - I didn't train at the Dance School, so I've never done any Latin or Ballroom. There is a part of me where I hope I might take to it like a duck to water, but I think that may be a pipe dream!"
