Stacey Solomon thanks fans after NTA losses

Stacey Solomon has addressed her fans after losing out on three National Television Awards. The TV presenter, 36, was nominated for Best TV Presenter, Best Reality Docuseries (Stacey & Joe), and Best Factual Entertainment (for Sort Your Life Out) on Tuesday night, but failed to win any awards.

Instead, Sir David Attenborough, Clarkson's Farm and Gogglebox all walked away from the ceremony victorious in the categories. But despite this, Stacey remained upbeat and thanked her dedicated fanbase for their continued support after losing out on the trophies.

Stacey's message to fans

Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to share a snap alongside Sort Your Life Out expert, Iwan Carrington and remained extremely upbeat as she returned to filming.

She penned: "Straight back out and with the gang at 5am this morning for Sort Your Life Out filming! We didn't win yesterday, but just wanted to come on here & say THANK YOU so much for supporting us and the team….

"We are so lucky to go to the NTAs win or lose and we don't take it for granted. We know we wouldn't have been able to go with YOU. And although we are all a bit tired and silly today we had the best time. LOVE YOU ALL."

Reports of being fed up with fame

It comes after Stacey has reportedly been telling pals that she is "fed up" of being famous. According to The Sun, Stacey, who found fame on The X Factor, has told pals: "I'm fed up with being a celebrity." It's claimed that she has "lost interest in playing the classic celebrity game," and no longer has any desire to appear on red carpets, give interviews to the media and be a presence on TV screens.

Instead, she is reportedly keen to focus on being a businesswoman, as well as maximising her social media presence, which will, in turn, allow her to build a career outside of the entertainment industry. The source went on to add: "She doesn't want to be on television all the time, she views herself first and foremost as a businesswoman, leveraging her massive Instagram presence to drive her lucrative brands"

Future projects

But Stacey won't be vanishing from screens any time soon. Instead, she's already back filming Sort Your Life Out. She's also gearing up to take on a huge presenting job, after we revealed that she is to become host of The Voice alongside Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon.

Last year, Stacey branded the glitzy awards bash "ludicrous" after both Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe went up against each other in the Entertainment category on the night. Speaking to Tom Price and Lucy Horobin on Magic Radio at the time, she said: "They've put Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe in the same blummin' category for some reason – we're up against each other, which is absolutely ludicrous!

"But you know what, I'm so grateful to just be going, it's so nice to be shortlisted and nominated, knowing that it's a public vote. All our family are going to be there, it's the first time our family has got to go to anything like this, so it's going to be amazing no matter what happens." Clarkson's Farm won in that category last year.
