Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne Brown has released a heartfelt statement following her daughter's Love Island entrance.
Leanne Brown, 49, was among the original cast members on the Cheshire version of the beloved housewives franchise. She featured in six series before stepping away, though she made several appearances in subsequent episodes.
Now, her daughter Halle is making her own venture into reality television. The 23-year-old dancer has been confirmed as one of four fresh bombshells entering the villa tonight (June 17).
She has already set her sights on Kavan Murphy, Lorenzo Alessi and Simba Kudyiwa, who are currently forming solid connections in the villa.
Ahead of her major debut, Halle's mother posted a touching message on Instagram, reports OK!.
"She lights up every room she walks into with her warmth, kindness, energy and beautiful spirit," Leanne shared alongside a collection of photographs of Halle.
She continued: "I honestly could not be prouder of her. People may see the glamour, confidence and now Love Island... but what they don't always see is the strength, resilience and hard work behind it all.
"Halle has always been a grafter. She worked through uni, chased every opportunity and has always understood the value of working hard for the life you want."
The mother-of-three went on to celebrate her child's "kind soul," before admitting: "She has been my rock, beyond her years, with the biggest heart".
While she is thrilled to watch her daughter's journey unfold, Leanne recognises that being thrust into the spotlight brings its own set of difficulties.
She added: "So while, as a mum, of course I have worries about life in the public eye, I also know exactly who my daughter is. And I have no doubt she is going to flourish on this journey and show everyone the same light we all see in her every single day.
"Excited to see what this chapter brings and if anyone deserves the chance to shine, grow and hopefully find love... it's Halle. I am so proud I could burst."
Leanne finished by urging her 65,000 followers to rally behind Halle. The Real Housewives star shares Halle with former husband Wes Brown, a legendary Manchester United player.
The pair wed in 2009 and confirmed their divorce in 2022. They are also parents to daughters Lilia and Lola.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
