Love Island Star Jasmine Muller's Surprising YouTuber Career Uncovered
Love Island Star Jasmine Muller's YouTuber Past Revealed

One Love Island star managed to attract just as many viewers as the ITV series itself. Jasmine Muller, a contestant on this year's show, has a surprising TV past that has been uncovered.

Jasmine's Previous TV Career

ITV's popular reality dating show is currently in its 13th series, delivering plenty of drama. This year, viewers have been introduced to a diverse array of contestants. The line-up entering the Villa includes West End performers, entrepreneurs, primary school teachers, and the obligatory semi-professional footballers. One standout star of this season is 27-year-old Jasmine Muller, originally from Dubai but now residing in London.

She identifies herself as a fashion business owner, but it appears she previously dabbled in a very different career path. Jasmine featured on a vastly different type of show prior to her current stint on Love Island. You could be forgiven for missing it, as it didn't receive a conventional television release, reports OK!.

The Nayva Series

Instead, episodes were made available online, specifically on YouTube. Jasmine starred in a series named Nayva. According to its page description, it was a weekly beauty and fashion show that aired between 2019 and 2020. All episodes remain accessible for viewing online. It was produced by the then YouTube content studio Kyra, which now identifies itself as an AI-driven creator agency.

Jasmine appeared in numerous episodes alongside fellow content creators, and the collective produced 67 instalments altogether, apparently ending their run during the coronavirus pandemic. Their last episode was posted six years ago and chronicled everything they were doing to stay occupied during lockdown.

Subscriber Success

The channel's profile amassed nearly 350,000 subscribers, with episodes consistently attracting hundreds of thousands of views on a frequent basis. One episode centred on Jasmine's 21st birthday celebration in Paris and followed the girls assembling outfits for the event.

Jasmine's Thoughts on Fame

Jasmine hadn't discussed this period of her career prior to entering the Villa. Nevertheless, she was questioned about those who participate in the programme with aspirations of fame or advancing their professional prospects. She remarked: "I'm sure there are people who do that and obviously it can catapult your whole life and it has done for so many people. And I think it's not fair to say that you don't consider that."

"At least for me, I haven't gone in expecting for it to turn out amazingly. I know that it can go the other way. And I think you just have to really go in there and be open minded and if you're truly open to finding someone, then it's a good idea and I think I am."

"I'm in a place where I've been single for a long time and it's not working out for me in London, so I think hopefully in there, I can lock in and really try and be patient and kind to men, which is something that I'm getting better at."

Love Island airs from Sunday through Friday on ITV2 and streaming on ITVX.
