Alana Percival, the ex-fiancee of Lee Andrews, who is Katie Price's fourth husband, has taken to Instagram to mock his mysteriously improved hairline. Lee has reportedly been in prison for the past month, but emerged earlier this week with what looked like a new hairline.
Alana Percival's Instagram Posts
Alana, who has been openly critical of Lee since his marriage brought him into the public eye, shared several images of him on her Instagram stories from over the years. All of the pictures focused on his hairline, which looked patchy, grey, and receding. However, in the central image taken from a video he released after reportedly leaving prison, his hairline appeared much thicker and darker.
Alana wrote over the top: "Missing person report cancelled. Hair found." She also added a poll asking people to confirm if Lee had "returned with more hair" after Katie claimed that he had been kidnapped and then arrested on suspicion of espionage.
Lee's Prison Release Video
Back in May, Katie told her followers that Lee was missing and that she thought he had been kidnapped. Over the ensuing two weeks, she regularly updated fans on what she was doing to find Lee, but later said he had been found in Dubai's Al Awir Central Prison. Almost a month after he first went missing, Lee resurfaced, claiming he had been released from prison.
Taking to social media with hair that was longer, thicker, and darker compared to when he was last seen, he said: "Hi everyone, this is Lee. I've been missing now for several weeks. I can tell you I'm now safe and healthy and with my wife. I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint and then I was captured by men with assault rifles. They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s and I was hand-tied, shackled and also with a hood over my head. From there I was taken to a black site and I had no use of my phone and from what I know it was an extended arm of the National Guard and that's all I can reveal at the moment. I have signed disclaimers now with state security and from there I was put into the system. At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or any criminal activities such as that."
Public Reaction to Hairline Change
Following the video and the debut of his new hairline, viewers questioned if he was really in prison or if he was getting a hair transplant. One said: "Jail ha getting hair transplant and waiting for results. Any pics of him leaving jail??? There reporting everything on socials so surely would have recorded that??" Another asked: "How many prisons do hair transplants?" And a third said he did "all this just to hide a hair transplant." A fourth commented: "Kidnapping and taken for a hair transplant!! He should have gone private."
However, another argued that it was not a hair transplant but a "toupee," saying: "It's not a transplant, it's a 'hair system' used to be known as a toupee." One person said it was "clearly not a hair transplant," adding: "They seldom work and, even when successful, don't result in thick, luscious locks (20 shades darker than one's natural colour and with all grey gone) a few weeks afterwards! Were that the case, no one would ever be bald."
Lee Addresses Claims
Lee later took to Instagram to address some of the claims his ex Alana had made, including one that he had forged another ex's name to get a mortgage. "First of all, I'm going to address this," he said as he wore a cap that hid his hair. "There's not one shred of evidence where I've taken a mortgage in someone else's name. Not my ex, not my ex wife, my ex fiancee, Dina." He then asked: "If I was to take a mortgage in someone else's name, wouldn't she get that mortgage? I mean, how does it work? How would I benefit by signing her name? That's definitely not the case."
Lee went on: "So, let her bring the papers because this is the story that's got out from me ex, Alana. I was engaged to her for what? Six days? Maximum." The Mirror reached out to Lee for comment about his hairline.
