The 2024 Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Wednesday, with Shōgun leading the pack with 25 nominations, including Best Drama Series. The Bear follows closely with 23 nominations, including Best Comedy Series.
In the drama categories, nominees include The Crown, Fallout, The Gilded Age, The Morning Show, Mr & Mrs Smith, Shōgun, Slow Horses, and 3 Body Problem. Comedy series nominees are Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building, Palm Royale, Reservation Dogs, and What We Do in the Shadows.
Limited or anthology series contenders include Baby Reindeer, Fargo, Lessons in Chemistry, Ripley, and True Detective: Night Country. Lead acting nominees feature Idris Elba, Jennifer Aniston, Jeremy Allen White, Quinta Brunson, and Jodie Foster, among others.
The Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on 15 September.
