Actress Ali Mylon is making a return to Emmerdale after nearly a decade away from the soap, with filming already underway. Unlike her previous stint, she will be playing a completely different role this time.
Return to the Dales
Ali first appeared on Emmerdale in 2017, when she played an irate hotel guest who accused Eric Pollard (Chris Chittel) of spying on her while she was getting undressed. The accusation turned out to be a misunderstanding, as Eric had accidentally placed some ladders next to her window.
A post shared by her acting agency confirmed the comeback, writing: "NEWS. Non stop client @alimylon is to make a return to @emmerdale. She begins filming this month."
A history of soap roles
Emmerdale is not Ali's only brush with soap opera. She has also appeared in Coronation Street and Peaky Blinders. Away from the screen, she is known for treading the boards and often performs in pantomime at Christmas.
On Instagram, Ali regularly shares snippets of her family life with her husband and two children.
The exact nature of her new role remains under wraps, leaving fans to wait and see what the twist will be.
