Police were called to Emmerdale after Caleb Milligan made a shocking discovery. The supposed criminal mastermind was outwitted by teenager Archie, who used AI technology to con him out of £5,000.
Caleb's Gullible Mistake
Archie, son of Caleb's business partner Jai Sharma, created an AI version of Caleb's daughter Steph's voice. He used it to ask Caleb to pay £5,000. Uncharacteristically gullible, Caleb wired the money without question.
When Caleb realized what happened, he was so upset that he turned back to a life of crime, roping in Billy to sell knock-off goods. But then he focused on finding the culprit.
The Trap
Caleb suspected Archie and set a trap. He pretended to offer Archie paid work using AI at the depot. Leaving his laptop unattended, Caleb snooped and found a folder named 'Steph' with all the evidence.
He confronted Archie, who panicked and blamed Kerry Wyatt. This was believable partly because it was true—she helped Archie pull off the stunt.
Confrontation with Kerry
Caleb went straight to confront Kerry. She was unprepared and struggled to explain. Caleb threatened the police, and Kerry folded, blaming Archie. Caleb twisted it and told her Archie blamed her.
But he underestimated her. As he threatened her with jail time, she threatened him back. Who will win this round?
