Creamfields final day: 29 pictures as rain and mud fail to stop party

The rain might have poured for a short while, but it certainly did not stop the fun on the final day of Creamfields 2026. From Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, 80,000 festivalgoers travelled to Daresbury for four days of dance music, featuring some of the world's biggest DJs.

Final day performances

The final day (August 30) of Creamfields saw performances from dance legends Swedish House Mafia at 3pm, who performed some of their biggest songs in front of a packed crowd. The event also hosted Fatboy Slim, Faithless, and Sonny Fodera on its final day.

Festivalgoers embrace the mud

Heather Melly, 35, from Stoke On Trent, has been to Creamfields three times before and keeps coming back because it is "just amazing". She told the ECHO: "I love the people, the vibe, everyone is just having a good time, and in great spirits. These are my people."

Speaking about the mud, caused by several downpours during the festival, she added: "Bring on the rain, bring on the mud. We don't care, because we're here for a good time. You know what, it has not changed the atmosphere. The vibe is still amazing, we love it."

Eleanor Gill, from Liverpool, told the ECHO that she just loves "having a boogie with her best mate". She said: "It's literally down the road for us. It's perfect."

Talking about the weather, her friend Annie said: "I ran the Range and she ran the Shoe Zone to get our wellies."
